It’s little wonder ShaoDow scooped the 2017 AIM Award for Hardest Working Artist. To date he has self-released three albums, which have sold more than 25,000 copies, created a headphones brand and published a book through his own company, DiY Gang Entertainment. The London-born artist makes a full-time living from his music, manga and merchandise and has even appeared on ITV's Ninja Warrior UK. He was recently invited into Parliament to speak on behalf of grassroots music venues across the country.
ShaoDow has opened for the likes of Wiley, Ghetts, Stormzy, Skepta and more, while his live shows have taken him across the UK, Europe and Asia.
ShaoDow is clearly a hard working and imaginative artist, and delivered a very inspiring, dynamic and captivating session, encouraging our students to participate in the discussion, whilst sharing their views on all things musical and business related. He manages to marry the creative and entrepreneurial worlds successfully, making him an ideal role model for our Creative Music Production & Business students.
Everyone at Community Music would like to thank ShaoDow for taking time out of his busy schedule to come and talk to our students. You can check out what he does via his website here
