Wauve, a 22-year-old first-generation immigrant, weaves a distinctive blend of R&B-infused afrobeat, drawing inspiration from his East African roots. Raised amidst the backdrop of East African culture, he developed a deep connection with its music and traditions, forged through community gatherings and weddings. In his music, Wauve seamlessly integrates two distinct approaches—crafting compelling narratives and rich songwriting influenced by his love for R&B, and sharing his personal journey.
Wauve is proudly signed to EMI's Lost Ones imprint and has previously honed his skills as a student of Community Music's Creative Music Production and Business Foundation Degree. His unique musical fusion has already garnered recognition, exemplified by the approval of his track "Fee Fi Fo" by industry luminaries Ne-Yo and Stargate for sample use.
