CM supported artist Sarah Williams-White has been chosen to play at the only City Showcase event in the heart of the East End, at Rich Mix. She will perform alongside a variety of other artists ranging from a punky jazz quartet to a Bengali rapper, that all reflect the diversity and eclecticism of London’s music scene.
After each performance the artists will receive on-mic critiques from a panel of music industry experts: the sublime Sway, Panjabi Hit Squad’s DJ, producer and radio star Rave, high flying music journalist Jennifer Wilson and Rich Mix resident Phrased Differently’s Philippe-Marc Anquetil. The best act will go on to receive a full on coaching session from City Showcase and a studio session with Phrased Differently.
The event will be followed by a DJ set from Panjabi Hit Squad, complete with Dhol drummers and Desi beats.
