CM has been invited to host 3 workshops and a stand at the Find Your Talent Festival on Saturday 17th January.

CM in the Stationary Zone:

CM will be hosting a stand featuring Information on music opportunities that CM is involved with in Tower Hamlets as well as the opportunity to explore your musical talent on our music technology workstation.

CM will be running 3 workshops throughout the day for 12 young people at a time:

CM Workshops

Workshop 1:

Rhythm:

Make a beat as a group using drums, percussion and music technology. The resulting track will be recorded and will form the basis of the recorded performance later.

Basslines:

Make a bassline using Bass guitar and synths that will work over the beat made in the rhythm workshop. The bassline track will be recorded over the rhythm part and will be a key part of the recorded performance later.

Chords and Melody:

Learn to play chords and melody on guitar and keyboards and add them to the Rhythm and basslines recorded by the previous group. The Chords and Melody parts will be recorded over the rhythm part and will be a key part of the recorded performance later.

The 3 workshops will have been recorded and mixed into a single musical track and will be played as a virtual performance.
