MU Teachers’ Continued Professional Development Weekend

The Musician's Union biennial Teachers’ Continued Professional Development Weekend will be hosted by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London on the 28th and 29th of October 2016.

The weekend will be a chance for music education specialists to meet and share skills and good practice.

Taking place in the award winning Laban Building, attendees can expect fascinating debates and dynamic workshops, whilst making music and networking with colleagues from across the UK.


Full schedule and contributors will be announced in the coming months; however as an outline the days will run:


Friday 28 October | Registration from 12.00, lunch 12.30-13.15, sessions 13.30-17.30, reception and networking 17.30-19.30 followed by optional evening entertainment.
Saturday 29 October | Registration from 09.30, sessions and lunch/refreshments 10.00-17.00.


£25 for MU members per day


£50 for non-members per day


The closing date for application forms is the Tuesday 31st May 2016. Places are limited so book soon to avoid disappointment.

The MU has negotiated a limited number of local hotel rooms at a discounted rate for Friday 28th - £60 for a single room and £75 for a double or twin which will be available for members and non-members.
