The Skellies announce UK Tour this July
The CM supported 3-piece will be taking their brand of raucous mod-punk around the country this summer.
London based band the Skellies were formed in 2010 by brothers Pedro and Daniel Skelly, influenced by bands like The Clash, The Buzzcocks and The Who.
The lineup is now slightly different after Daniel left the band, and now consists of Pedro Skelly (Vocals/Guitar), Tom Deacon (Bass) and Harry B (Drums)

Live Unsigned describe the band below
“Angry, attitude filled lyrics declaimed in the manner of Mark E. Smith and energetic, insistent punk riffing, sometimes sounding like The Clash or The Buzzcocks, sometimes more like The Dead Kennedys, always fraying at the edges just like punk should. The Skellies have their moments of experimental weirdness too, but mostly this is straight-ahead sweaty mosh fodder, which is always pleasing”.
The Skellies have performed at several CM events since their formation including Underage Festival, Music Space live and the official Asian Dub Foundation after party at the Royal Festival Hall.
The dates on their tour are-
July 19th - Dog & Parrot, Newcastle
July 20th – Manchester (venue TBC)
July 21st - The Live Lounge, Blackburn
July 27th – Brighton (venue TBC)
July 28th - Camden Barfly, London
We recommend you try and catch one of their gigs!
In the meantime, here’s the video for their latest track ‘Superficial’
