Mammoth Sound Win Two Awards At Music For Youth National Festival

We would like to congratulate the band on two great performances at the National Festival in Birmingham. It seems the judges were impressed too!

CM supported band, Mammoth Sound were given two awards after impressing crowds and judges alike at the Music For Youth National Festival in Birmingham on Thursday 5th of July.

The band travelled up from London to play two short sets in different venues around the city and were among 12,000 young musicians invited from all over Britain to show their musical talents.

Mammoth Sound won The Rockschool Amplified Award for performance, and CM were informed it was for their ‘sheer personality and dynamic enjoyment’
They also scooped The Vivendi Student Composition Award for their original track ‘London Town’, with one judge commenting “it should have been the theme tune for the London Olympics!”

We are very proud of the band for their hard work, commitment and continued desire to progress musically.

If you would like to see Mammoth Sound, they will be performing with CM at several forthcoming events.

Firstly, they will be headlining our East Beats finale party on Saturday 28th July. See events section for further details or click here http://www.cmsounds.com/events/entry/east-beats-to-celebrate-a-year-of-olympic-inspired-music

They will also be playing two dates (30th July and 2nd August) at Victoria Park, one of the BT London Live sites, where CM will be taking over the stage for an hour. For more information about BT Live/Victoria Park, click on the link below
