Anthem 2012
22nd June 2012: CM Music Space and Music Space Academy students will be performing with Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment at two special concerts on Monday 18th and Friday 22nd June.
The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE) call themselves a period instrument orchestra- they play instruments from over 200 years old and try to create the sounds composers would have heard as they were composing their music.
Anthem 2012 is OAE’s largest ever education project. Working across the country in 10 different locations from Devon to York, the OAE will be joined by over 8000 people of all ages during 2012, working towards two unique concerts with a world class orchestra.
On Monday 18th June, the concert will take place in Hall 2 of Kings Place, 90 York Way, London N1 9AG, with two performances at 10am and 11.30am.
On Friday 22nd June, the concert will be held at Old Spitalfields Market, 16 Horner Square, London E1 6EW, from 6-7.15pm
